“ Stopped in here by a friends recommendation. Totally worth it. I had the Brown Stewed chicken with dirty rice and some kind of slaw. So good. Great flavor and the plantains were on point. I dont have a lot of experience with Jamaican food but I am quite happy. Looking forward to coming back and trying something else. The staff are all great and there is a small shop inside to get some groceries, drinks, or a snack. ”
“ These are the finest patties Ive encountered since relocating to Californias Central Valley, rivaling those I enjoyed in Jamaica. Their quality is so exceptional that Im willing to make regular trips from Sacramento just for their chicken patties. Beyond the patties, the festivals were perfectly baked, and the plantains were cooked to perfection. The foods outstanding quality cannot be overstated. “ My husband and I have a tiny obsession with Jamaican beef patties. They are phenomenal! We picked up 2 spicy beef patties, a plate of jerk chicken, and a plate of curry goat. The chicken was nice, although Im more used to the dry rub. The curried goat was really good and I loved my rice and peas kidney beans. The plantains were also really good. BUT we devoured our beef patties.... and then drove back to the shop and picked up 6 more. The outside was perfectly flakey, the inside creamy and spicy! Oh perfection! Thankful my work is only 5 minutes away. We will be regulars for our lunch dates! ”
“ Im 61 years old from NYC, and my family is Caribbean from the Dominican Republic. Therefore, when I say I know GREAT AUTHENTIC Caribbean food... I know what Im talking about. The food here is EXCELLENT!! I have tried everything on the menu by now, and EVERY item is DELICIOUS and so AUTHENTIC... the Stew Oxtail is my absolute favorite!!! Its so good, that it makes me homesick for the restaurants on Utica Ave in Brooklyn, NY, and food on the islands. I HIGHLY recommend this spot if you want a great meal. I forgot to mention that they have a little Caribbean grocery store inside as well if you want authentic products i.e., spices, drinks, bread, chips, candy, ice cream, rum cakes, etc. ”

“ Went to get some Jerk Chicken today as they served food on a daily basis. They got different dishes depending on the day of the week, so if you are looking for jerk chicken, Wednesday is the day to go, but I think they have other days. The chicken was great, and the plate was big enough for 2 adults. It cost about 12, but is worth it. Besides chicken, it include mixed riced and beans, platains, and Cole slaw. Delicious. I also got a couple of beef patties, really recommend you to try these, but careful, they can be addictive . Victor the owner is such a great person, and he has a great memory to remember names of customers, not sure how he does that. ”
